The hotel is horrid. We didn't go because they did not permit us to go with our group. Instead we were on a horrible safari with screaming kids, old grouches and an incompetent driver. The animals …Full review by Venture01978788790

You can stay it has small pol and normal restaurant if you want to do the safari twice i think its the same experience they do not track the animals, if you are lucky enough you can see them if not they will skip it, if you are looking for good safari i recommend Kruger national park (google it), i was there in April and some days were really cold. Take thick clothes with you and jacket in back bag the weather is changeable during the day and night.

Q:
We are planning on driving to Aquila ourselves for a half day/full day trip (currently undecided). However, can anyone please recommend what the best time for safari is? When animals may be more likely to be out? We have the choice of 10am, 1:30pm or 4pm. Many Thanks
A:
Best time to view animals is first thing in the morning.
Q:
Are the Baboons a problem? I am nervous about goung and wondered if the Baboons would putr off enjoying the stay
A:
We actually didn’t see any Baboons! Aquila has really tall fences to keep all of the animals in the reserve. They never get too close to the resort.
Q:
Is one night/ a day and half sufficient or is it ,worth a two night stay?
A:
I’d say that if you’re going for the game, one night would suffice. If you want to add pool & spa time - two nights would be better.
