A nice refreshing, if slightly muddy walk to burn if some of those Easter egg calories. Lots of flies along the path and some uneven surfaces to watch out for.Full review by Callum S

Thank you for your feedback. Parking charges were introduced a while back to pay for the general upkeep of the country park. Although owned by Northamptonshire County Council, the Country Parks Service does not receive any capitol funding, therefore we must run our parks from revenue. We do this in a number of ways, including car parking charges, events and donations. Without it, we would not be able to manage even the basic tasks such as mowing, litter picking, providing dog bins or general park maintenance. We do offer a very reasonable annual parking pass for £37 per park, or £49 for all 5; these can be bought from our website Northamptonshire Parks, or by calling 0300 126 100. I hope this explains the need for the parking charges. If you would like to discuss this, or any other query, please call our park office on 0300 126 5932. Kind regards, Debbie - Senior Ranger
