Please remember when taking a rickshaw that you do not overload the vehicle. I have seen many fat Indians or several trying to fit in the vehicle to save money. The men who have to pull their inordinate weight are poorly paid and no person should use them as a beast of burden. if you are genuinely not able to walk, then take the rickshaw, but remember who is doing the work and that they have to feed themselves and their families.

If you're interested in just wandering around Mussoorie and taking in the lovely atmosphere of hills and jungles, I would suggest that you go to Landour and walk down to Lal Tibba and Sister's Bazar. You could also take the refreshing walk down Camel Back road. Another thing worth doing is going to the Jabarkhet Nature Reserve which is a beautiful jungle with well- marked trails. You can even get a guide for it.
