This 1,600-acre bucolic park has enough activities to fill days at a time and is particularly popular among families with children.

Wonderful park to walk through. Lots of vendors, like a lot. Very safe and comfortable as well. Great way to get away from the traffic of the city.Full review by rajawashere

This is a huge park that you will go through if you go to the Anthropology Museum or the Castle. I rode a bike through. It has lots of trees and shade. I don’t know if I would recommend to just go an…Full review by msa23_2000

This stand supermarket charged one zero coke plastic bottle for $45. The local Mexican vendors love to charge extra for Foreigners. Please be aware.Full review by Flyer322828

It's a huge park with several sections. Officially, it's wheel chair accessible and most of it probably is. However, there's lots of stone paths, steep hills, so-so ramps to negotiate, etc. Tripavisor won't let me attach links here but if you google Bosque de Chapultepec Silla de Ruedas you'll get more info. El Bosque de Chapultepec en la Ciudad de México es accesible para personas con discapacidad y cuenta con: Rampas de acceso para todas las áreas del parque. We're planning to go here on a Sunday but it looks like rain. Will it be as active even if it is going to rain? The other option would be to go on a weekday, but I heard sundays are best

It's very active despite not so good weather and there are a number of activities that you can do indoors should it rain hard. The museum of anthropology is a good place to start
We will be in Mexico City on a layover early next year. We've been to Chapultepec Park for just a visit to the Museum Of Anthropology many years ago. But we always wanted to get more of the park experience. We land in MEX on a Monday afternoon when things are closed, but we could still walk around and enjoy the park. We were thinking of staying at The Grand Fiesta Americana near the park and spending all day Tuesday seeing another museum or maybe two and taking a walk around a little of the park and flying out Wednesday. Is one full day enough time to get some of the park and one or two sites in? Thanks!

I think one full day will be plenty ! Different days of the week will probably have a different atmosphere - Sundays more lively than other days perhaps !
