Brilliant and pretty easy walk to the top- beautiful views. Easy to get to via bus. And can loop round to the start or back via horseshoe bay. About 10k steps and we saw koalas!! (Look out for arrow…Full review by Stay50852488426

I believe you can but there is also the option of utilising the bus service which goes directly past the entrance to the walking track

If you are going to be out at dawn or dusk it's best to use some mozzie spray just to be safe. They carry some nasty diseases and they mostly bite at those times. Get a tropical strength one though which is available in just about any supermarket or pharmacy.

Hi you don’t travel from Brisbane to Magnetic island , you catch the ferry from Townsville across, and it’s a lovely boat ride , not rough at all
