Tickets reflect this and are for a journey along the whole line and back again. 2024 prices: Standard fares are: At the gate – Adult £24, child £12 Online – Adult £22, child £11 First class fares are: Online – Adult £30, child £15 At the cate – Adult 32, child £16 2024 prices are also on their website, which has other useful information

We are wanting to book and have a compartment to ourselves. We are two adults and two infants. Do we need need to book first class or do we class as 4 persons and therefore get a standard compartment to ourselves? Even though the infants are travelling for free.
