Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture is an autonomous prefecture occupying much of the southern extremity of Sichuan province, People's Republic of China. Its seat is Xichang. Liangshan contains a number of isolated villages high up on its cliffs, often known as "cliff villages".
