We were there for about 2 hours and saw several jets and smaller planes land during that time. It’s worth the trip, but be advised that the beach is PACKED full of cruise ship tourists. If you don’t mind that, it’s worth taking a cab to see! We didn’t pay for an excursion because we didn’t want to be regulated by someone else’s time. Just be sure you leave early enough to get back to the ship! Everyone is clamoring at the last minute.
