We didn’t find the marine life at Molokini worth the money. It is crowded and you have to stay in a very small area by your own boat. The second site was much better and we were the only ones there. Saw and held a helmet conch and an octopus which I loved! That and listening to the captain who grew up on Maui talk about what it was like forty years ago, were the highlights.

Do you generally see children under 5 feeling comfortable getting in the water with their parent? My 3 year old loves to swim in pools but is unfamiliar with ocean waters and especially this type of experience. What do the younger children (Under 5) generally do or how do they react? Thanks! :)

Nikucla, Yes we have children come out on the boat all the time of that age. They love it. They can see all sorts of things, turtles, fish sometimes whales and dolphins.

Molokini is always crowded. I agree, contact Aqua Adventures and they will help you. It is a great adventure! We went on the snuba/snorkel trip and the kids loved it!
