I am planning a trip to the swamp. I want to make sure the alligators have come out of hibernation. When will this happen
A:
They don't totally hibernate. But usually in the early spring they start to get active. The warmer the weather, the more active they become.

We went in September. It was not overly hot or humid. There were few mosquitos but some nasty biting flies. The park was not crowded at all.
