Very nice Northwest type gardens. It's huge. Take the tram tour of the gardens for a small fee. Very nice things in the gift shop. Down the driveway is a tour of a Frank Lloyd Wright home you can …Full review by kerries956

The entry to the resort is separate from the entry to the Garden. Once you turn in under the big pretty sign to the Garden, off the main road, keep going straight. The resort is up ahead on the right. In the winter time when the garden is open fewer hours than the regular season, Garden Members can enter the garden from up at the Resort. If you join the Garden, you can walk in the Garden 365 days a year and you can take your dog. Come visit downtown Silverton when you are in town. We have great restaurants and a movie theater.

Depending on who you are visiting the gardens with I would plan for at least half a day to a whole day. If you live in Oregon City it's probably worth just making it a day trip. There's also lots of fun restaurants in Silverton if you would want to get a happy hour or something after visiting the gardens and before heading home. I have two daughters (1.5 and 4) that I was with, so I was only able to stay for about 3 hours with them before they got tired and hungry, but I could have easily stayed much longer if not for them.
Do you have a list of plants in the garden. We didn't get the correct name of one we were wanting to look up
