No one loves a train ride more than this guy. The scenery was gorgeous, the weather was about as good as it gets in Alaska was clear on the way up the mountain then foggy and rain on the way down. …Full review by Passenger717625

Does the train out of Skagway enter Canada at all As I don’t have a passport
A:
You do enter Canada briefly on the White Pass train but as you don’t get off you don’t need a passport to board the train!

I see no problem with fear of heights. I don’t remember anywhere you are on the edge

First come-first serve. They try to keep tour groups together
