Absolutely - you could walk along the road over to the park and to the lighthouse. It was maybe a 5 minute drive from the train station to the park so walking wouldn't be a problem.

I may be too late. Go to the kukuit parking lot traffic light. Just north of that location turn left (not into the tourist attraction but at the light on the bottom of the hill. Follow that street around (use your GPS) do not know the names of the streets. You are headed to the Westchester Park by the river. You need a GPS or a map mostly left turn until you cross the bridge.. Park in the lot and walk south to the light house. Call first to make sure it is opened because the gates are locked..
