Hi there Kat. Whilst we are big ol' dog lovers here at Wordsworth House & Garden, and can provide you with somewhere to sit, water and doggy treats, we do not allow dogs into the main garden. We ask one person to stay with the dog in our front courtyard and people often just swap the dog-sitting and visiting amongst themselves. We can also recommend a great little walk along the river for those dogs (and owners!) who don't like to sit still for too long. We usually recommend between 1 and 2 hours for a visit, although of course it can vary. I hope that helps you plan your visit, and we look forward to welcoming you here soon.
Hello, How long should we allow for a visit to the House and Garden. Thank you,

Unfortunately, dogs (other than the assistance variety) visiting Wordsworth House can’t join their human companions indoors, because of the precious objects, or in the back garden, as we use some of the produce in our café. They are, however, welcome on leads in the front courtyard, if supervised.
