One World Trade Center is great to visit, standing tall over the original World Trade center site. Easy to get to and a must visit.Full review by Indah2014

Very hi-tech observation deck. The elevator up is special. The reveal of the skyline however is just spectacular. This is a must visit.Full review by alexo585

One of those tour events where I don’t think the pass is of much value, especially this time of year when the lines are very short or none at all. Like yourself we had a skip the line pass connected to another tour we were on. Went up the elevator without waiting and spent about 1 1/2 hours at the observatory (more than enough time in my opinion). Rented the optional $15 iPad per person that helped to Id the buildings visible from the tower. The display was of poor quality and I probably wouldn’t rent it again. But it was our first visit there so it was worth it.
Q:
How long in advance must I book my tickets? Does it sell out? Thanks!
A:
You don't need to book in advance typically unless you like to plan ahead and have a specific time in mind.
Q:
How long should I plan for a visit?
A:
We went at dusk and stayed to see the night lights. Probably 2.5 hrs. Gorgeous view!

Gosh, not sure of average time but I would plan one to two hours. We went right before Christmas but on a week day morning and getting in was not a problem at all. I am sure the holiday week might be busier so I recommend buying the timed tickets ahead of time for peace of mind. It is a great experience so enjoy!
