Interesting early history of Great Zim and this should be visited in conjunction with Great Zimbabwe ruins to the east. We used Bonaisa with Lesly coordinating and driving. Full review by LFCKOPITE4EVER

My answer may not be relevant any longer - I just saw this. My apologies. However, I would not recommend public transport because the ruins are well away from the cities or towns, in a park. Your destination point would be well away from any other traffic or public transport stop. I would recommend a taxi or other car/driver arrangement. As always, agree on a price first (use Google Maps or something to determine route and distance).
