How much hiking must be done to fully enjoy this waterfall. I have some mobility issues that restrict me from hiking and walking on uneven ground, so I need level pathways. I only have one day in the Westfjords, so I'm just wondering if this is one I should skip, or if I should make time for a visit. Thanks.

Debbie, The great news is you can enjoy this waterfall from the car—you start to see the falls from a good distance away. There is a set of very nice viewing platforms and facilities at the location that thankfully don't obstruct the view of the falls. You can park and get out and see the falls nicely, or if feeling more adventurous, get quite close to / under the falls.
