Hi, There are two entrances of Ephesus: the main gate is the North-West one (near the Grand Theatre), and the South-East gate where coaches of tourists always drop the people there to let them walk downhill to the main gate. You can choose from which gate you want to start exploring the city. There are big parking lots at both two gates. :) (sorry if my answer didn't help)

I copied and pasted this from the Tourism Website: Opening and closing times for Ephesus 8 am - 5 pm Oct - April 8 am - 7 pm May - Sept The Ministry of Culture & Tourism has raised the entry fees as of April 1st, 2012. Entrance fee to Ephesus is 25 Lira (13.93 USD) per person. An additonal charge of 15 Lira ($8.36 USD) if you wish to visit the Terrace houses in Ephesus.
