Hello! We got there by car, from downtown Merida, Mucuyché is located around 50 km away, 50 min approx. From Progreso is almost an 1.20 and it is important to get half an hour before the tour starts. I would suggest contacting them on their facebook to see if they offer transport services or have any alliance.

If I remember correctly, there are no lockers. They recommend you leave valuables on the bus. If you had a water proof camera you probably could just take it with you. But if you don't, you can't really snap a few pics and then run back to the bus. See about getting a cheaper waterproof case (bag) for your phone and use it.
