We took the self-guided tour. There are plenty of Museum volunteers to answer all your questions. Take as long as you wish to view all the rooms in the Museum, there is no time limit. If you rush, you can see the entire museum in about 1 1/2 hrs. But to really enjoy the visit, take your time, stroll thru the rooms, stop and view history.
About how long does it take to tour the whole museum?

Yes, I agree that one to two hours would be long enough. I would recommend eating lunch in their restaurant on the first floor, as well. It has a pretty view and the food was excellent.
Do you have to pay the $25 dollar Museum entrance fee PLUS the $25 Star Wars/ Special Exhibit fee? (A total of that would $50 per person see the Stars Exhibit)
