Wondering if we do this and the wildlife retreat accommodation option. Wanting to manage the kids fun and their energy/exhaustion! What do most famiiies with younger kids do? Thanks

Hi, are you allowed to walk around the zoo before the tour starts in the morning?
A:
Hi Margaret the Roar and Snore starts when the zoo closes, you tour and sleep through the evening and then you have the entire next day at the zoo if you want to. Best experience ever x

I think there are about 15 tents. We wore masks during the tours and the staff were very conscious of physical distancing during mealtimes, staggering guests at the food table. However as the group was quite large with lots of children it was almost impossible to physical distance all the time. I’m sure the situation is different out of school holidays.

Q:
What does this experience look like with Covid restrictions? Is it worth waiting a couple months to book?
A:
For us it meant an upgrade into the resort as they aren’t doing the tents at the moment, plus masks are mandatory. The group was small though and we thought it was worth it!
