Beautiful beach, we have gone a few times. There is free paved parking and showers. Sand is soft. Clean beach. Beware of windy days washing up jellyfish. Bring vinegar just in case. Full review by Ana B

You do indeed need a Beach pass to park on the beach. It is minimal and pays for the upkeep of the beach. A patrolling Turtle officer can sell you one or sometimes they have a tent set up at the entrance. HEB sells passes also...less than $15 I believe
