Uttarakhand Avalanche: 53 workers trapped in an avalanche near Mana village, Chamoli have been rescued. Total three bodies were recovered on Sunday, bringing the confirmed deaths to seven.

There were 54 workers at the project site when the avalanche buried the containers that the workers were using as living quarters.

The bodies of three labourers were recovered from the avalanche-hit Border Roads Organisation (BRO) camp in Chamoli on Sunday, bringing the death toll to seven, while efforts continued to locate another missing worker on the third day of the operation,
