This proposal aims to boost connectivity for pilgrims who are planning their trip between two major religious destinations: Punaura Dham Janki Mandir in Sitamarhi and Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Sitamarhi: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide road and rail connectivity to Punaura Dham, the birthplace of Goddess Sita, located in Sitamarhi district of the state.

Nitish emphasised the religious significance of both Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram, and Punoura Dham, and also urged the Prime Minister to expedite the construction of the Ram-Janaki Marg connecting the two locations.
