Two people are dead and another is seriously hurt after a shooting near Palatka Daily News in Florida on Christmas night, according to police.

As officers attempted to clear the crowd, they say several handgun shots were heard near the Palatka Daily News on St. Johns Avenue. Officers found three people with gunshot wounds. One of the victims died at the scene, a second victim died at the hospital. The third victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Two people were killed and another was injured after a shooting outside of a restaurant in Miramar on Christmas morning, police said.
