At least one person died Sunday in a fiery collision on the 134 Freeway in Pasadena. The incident took place around 8:10 a.m. on the westbound side of the freeway near North San Rafael Avenue. At least one person has died.

The families of Amelia Nowak and Derek Duerr said they believe Matthew Davis’ 30-year sentence was not long enough. Anchorage District Attorney Brittany Dunlop said the plea agreement marked one of the highest sentences to be imposed in Alaska for a DUI homicide.

One person is dead after a fiery crash in Pico Rivera Wednesday morning. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a traffic collision at 3:25 a.m. near the intersection of Whittier Boulevard and Gregg Road. The LACFD extinguished a fully engulfed vehicle. One person was found dead inside, according to the Pico Rivera Sheriff's Station.

The CHP said a vehicle got onto the 134 Freeway from the San Rafael Avenue off-ramp and proceeded to go eastbound in the westbound lanes.

Two people were killed and three others were rushed to a hospital from a fiery, multi-vehicle crash on the 134 Freeway in Pasadena allegedly triggered by a wrong-way driver on Sunday morning, authorities said.
