The official nominees for this year's edition of the Golden Raspberry Awards have been revealed, and the superhero genre made a splash.

The nominees for the best of the worst of cinema – the awards known as the Razzies – were released Tuesday, and the oft-derided “Joker” sequel led the pack.

Ahead of the Academy Award nominations (which were recently delayed), the nominations for the 45th annual Golden Raspberry Awards have been announced, and several comic book movies were... recognized!

"Joker: Folie a Deux" was nominated for seven Razzies on Tuesday, leaving the sad clown atop the annual tongue-in-cheek list of the worst movies of the year.

They’re by far the Razzie committee’s (1,202 members) least favorite films. Personally, I don’t think there was enough Argylle. It was nice to see it receive two nominations, but it definitely should have been in the screenplay,
