For the first time in 15 years, Michigan State is the Great Lakes Invitational champion. The No. 1 Spartans (15-2-1) pulled out a 3-1 win against No. 4 Western Michigan (11-4-1) in the tournament finale on Monday night at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids.
