MILWAUKEE - One person was injured in an early morning shooting in Milwaukee on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025. According to the Milwaukee Police Department, at about 1:30 a.m. a 25-year-old was shot near 27th and St Paul.

A 23-year-old was killed in a shooting early Friday morning in Milwaukee. It happened around 12:30 a.m. near 95th Street and Brown Deer Road, near the old Northridge Mall. Milwaukee police say they have not made any arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

A Milwaukee police officer who was shot in the line of duty last week was released from the hospital Wednesday, surrounded by his brothers and sisters in blue.

Both people are expected to survive, but their injuries initially appeared “life threatening,” a spokesperson for the Boston Police Department said.

Police say they received a 911 call around 8:30 p.m. for a report of two people shot. One victim was found near 11 Mt. Pleasant Ave and the other victim was found near 225 Dudley Street, according to officials.
