Darts ace Luke Humphries would probably have been watching on with a smirk as Shaun Murphy completed a 147-break during Saturday’s Masters action at Alexandra Palace. Murphy became just the sixth snooker player in the history of the competition to secure a maximum, with the 42-year-old dubbing it a “dream come true”.

The Northern Irishman had led 2-0 before Murphy hit back with four frames in a row, eventually winning 6-3.
