Wichita measured 1.9 inches of snow from the storm that started early Wednesday morning, according to Wichita’s official measurement site at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport. The snow had mostly stopped around 10 a.

Milwaukee could nearly triple its January snowfall total Wednesday with up to nine inches forecast in some areas.

Snow will continue across southern Wisconsin this afternoon. Expect a wintry scene all day long, with accumulations of 3-6" expected for most of the area—though pockets along the state line may push past 7 inches.

There have been a few light snow showers across southern Wisconsin early this morning, most of them have been hugging along the state line. Watch out of an isolated slippery spot or two.
