So, there is no need to cut your banana trees down to the ground. All you need to do is to trim off the damaged, unattractive foliage. Healthy new leaves will grow out of the top of the trunk.

So, the banana tree started to grow. Now it is so tall and robust that the leaves are touching the ceiling and it has bananas. I water it about three times a week and it is looking good.
