An army veteran who worked for the Bronx VA hospital said he was one of the federal workers who had recently been laid off.

A Bronx native veteran was abruptly fired Feb. 13 from the Lyons VA Medical Center in New Jersey as part of the Trump administration’s across-the-board cuts of recently hired federal employees.
