A furniture and appliance store is closing all of its locations across the United States, including four in Colorado. Closing sales began last week.

DALLAS — A furniture store is closing all 300-plus locations across the country, including seven in DFW. American Freight, an Ohio-based furniture store chain, has locations in Carrollton, Mesquite, Allen, Dallas, Grand Prairie, Arlington and Fort Worth, according to their website.

A nationwide furniture and appliance store is closing all locations including one in Columbia and 9 others. Sales are underway.

And the latest furniture news comes from American Freight, a national retailer that’s shutting down all of its stores, as its parent company, Franchise Group, continues Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. American Freight has a dozen stores in North Carolina, including one in Raleigh.

Store closing sales have begun in-store and online, with discounts of up to 30% off the lowest ticketed prices.
