A man in emotional distress with a pair of scissors and a knife was shot by cops in The Bronx on Friday morning, police said. The gunfire marks the fourth police shooting in the past two weeks.

The assailant first attacked a man on the sidewalk near Jane and Hudson Sts. at 9:30 a.m., cutting the victim’s neck with the scissors, cops said. That victim ran into a nearby business for help.
