Christmas Island National Park is a destination full of unique wildlife experiences for visitors, including the annual red crab migration, where millions of crabs head from the forest to the ocean.
The event will feature musical performances before the live Christmas tree lights up the night on Thursday, Nov. 30 at President's Park (also known as the Ellipse), just south of the White House.
According to Mega Caverns executive vice president Charles Park, the yearly Christmas light show has garnered national attention. "6.5 million lights," Park said.
