Stellantis has named a new chief executive officer. The world’s fourth-largest car manufacturer is navigating the impact of U.S. tariffs, burgeoning competition from China and the transition to electric vehicles.

"The Board selected Antonio Filosa to be CEO based on his proven track record of hands-on success during his more than 25 years in the automotive industry," Stellantis said.

Antonio Filosa, former leader of Jeep brand and chief operating officer for the Americas, takes over after Carlos Tavares retired amid turmoil.
