After six years of hard work, Jonathan Bender’s dream of opening the Museum of BBQ in Kansas City is coming to fruition.

And that’s just where the magic begins. Inside City Museum are dark caves, crashing waters, and secret passageways—plus all the ramps, domes, tunnels, chutes, and slides a kid could want.

The Akron History, which showcases 200 years of the city’s history, opens Saturday in Downtown Akron at 172 South Main Street.

Most thought the concept was cool and interesting, though several reviewers commented that it can get warm inside the building during the summer. City Museum is located in downtown St. Louis.
