FAIRFIELD, Ohio (WXIX) - The City of Fairfield has effectively approved the sale of marijuana within its limits. On Monday, the council created a plan to allow the opening of one dispensary.

"We are thrilled to receive this grant from OKI (the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments)," said Nick Dill, city engineer of Fairfield, who led the grant writing process.
