Q: Two years ago, we planted several dwarf gold-thread cypress [Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Golden Mop’] in a new, sunny bed. Most of the other plantings were conifers or other evergreens.
The leaves are blue-green, not gold. One other possibility is the dwarf goldthread cypress 'Gold Mop.' It's in the Chamaecyparis genus but a different species from what you've been trying.
