Two cold-weather shelters will open on Thursday and Friday evenings, providing refuge for people experiencing homelessness. Doors will open at 6 p.m. to offer overnight shelter Thursday and Friday.

The Sheltering Tree organization will open its shelter at the Rock Transformation Center, 2200 North State Street. The shelters will be open for three nights on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday as another cold snap is expected.
