NASA astronauts Sunita "Suni" Williams and Barry "Butch" Wilmore have been on the International Space Station since June, even though they initially expected to stay for just eight days. But now, NASA might bring the two astronauts home several weeks earlier than expected.

NASA will send astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams home from the International Space Station early on a previously used SpaceX Dragon space capsule, not on a brand-new one, the agency announced.

Two American astronauts who have been trapped on the International Space Station since June could return to Earth earlier in March than expected, NASA said Tuesday.

Another schedule change for two astronauts stuck at the International Space Station for months longer than originally planned, but NASA announced they will be coming home, finally, next month.

SpaceX will switch capsules for upcoming crew flights to bring Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams home in mid-March instead of late March or April.
