The Oscar nominee is branching out into the brave new world of animation with the Tui T. Sutherland fantasy dragon books.

There are 29 books in the Wings of Fire series so far, including 21 novels and eight graphic novels, with new installments being released every year since the series began in 2012.

"Wings of Fire, a popular children's book series, is being made into a streaming show. At its helm is an Indiana native and IU graduate.
