Henry Cavill’s James Bond Audition Tape Offers a Fascinating ‘What If?’
The search for a new Bond is always a point of interest and what actually happens behind the scenes is rarely revealed. Or, in this case, maybe it takes 20 years. Games Radar discovered that a YouTuber named Ron South recently uploaded four videos that very much look and sound like James Bond audition tapes from 2005.

This is the first time we've seen the actual audition, but we've known for a long time that Cavill was one of the initial frontrunners for Bond. Speaking back in 2003, Casino Royale director Martin Campbell described his audition as "tremendous".
