CHICAGO (AP) -- A 35-year-old African elephant likely died over the weekend at Lincoln Park Zoo from tuberculosis complications, zoo officials said Monday.

Indu, a 59-year-old female Asian elephant, has lived at the zoo since 1998, and had previously lived at the Houston Zoo and the Lincoln Park Zoo, according to the group.
