Mauch Chunk Lake is a 330-acre impoundment within Mauch Chunk Lake Park in Carbon County. In addition to fishing and boating opportunities, the park has swimming, camping and picnic areas available.

All three swimming areas of Mauch Chunk Lake will be fully open this weekend with four lifeguards and a supervisor on duty. The park has four additional lifeguards whose hirings are not yet finalized.
