Meta tests image ads on Threads, offering new opportunities for advertisers. Learn why this matters, how it works, and what brands should do now.

In its year-and-a-half of existence, one of the things that’s set Threads apart from Meta’s other apps is that the service has been entirely free of the advertising that fills up just about every corner of Facebook and Instagram.

Meta said it will monitor the test closely before scaling it broadly, adding that businesses will be able to extend their existing Meta ad campaigns to Threads.
