01/20/2017 January 20, 2017. After years in the making, Potsdam's Barberini Museum - spearheaded by patron and billionaire Hasso Plattner - is opening its doors.

Their new home is the Museum Barberini, built exclusively at Mr Plattner's expense, in Potsdam's Old Market Square. Born and raised in Berlin, Mr Plattner lives in Palo Alto and Heidelberg.
