Prairie Farms Dairy closes Memphis facility, affecting 120 workers, with plans to redistribute through regional centers.

Products include ice cream, butter, veggie dip, iced coffee, cottage cheese and, of course, milk. Prairie Farms started looking at adding the lactose-free products to its portfolio last year.

In a statement released on May 30, officials said employees at the plant were told that the facility would close immediately.
