While "Rick and Morty" streams on Max (soon to be HBO Max), you won't be able to stream new episodes the day after they air on Adult Swim. Season 8 of "Rick and Morty" won't show up on Max until the entire season has aired. Who knows? By the time that happens, Max may have changed its name to HBO Max and back again a few times.

Rick and Morty kicked off its eighth season last night on Adult Swim. While “Summer of All Fears” did frame itself around why it’s very important to return a borrowed phone charger, it was really about several other themes that run much deeper— in grand Rick and Morty fashion.
